I have an Approved Travel Authorization and the traveler is not going to take the trip. What needs to be done?

Question: I have an Approved Travel Authorization and the traveler is not going to take the trip. What needs to be done?

Answer: An Expense Report will still need to be created, the employee will certify and only the Budget Authority signer will have the option to “Terminate” the Expense Report. This will disencumber the funds properly and be available back in your budget.

NOTE: The Budget Authority signer will be able to put in comments as to why it is being “Terminated”.
